If you play with the right mods its actually a really excellent game. It reminds me so much of old Minecraft Tekkit packs with all these differing paths of research you can go down and so much to explore. But the base game is neigh unplayable. its such a shame how they started so strong and just completely abandoned it.

Being a huge terraria fan, when my bro told me abt this game, I instantly fell in love. So many things to do and holy shit the replayability is outstanding. This game has kept me busy during times where things are boring. ConcerneApe is the goat for making everything so interesting. Can't wait to see how my farm does ♥️

I played both Terraria and Starbound. I finished only one game. Yes, it was Terraria.

I mean... They could have steadily updated it after calling it an "Alpha" and slowly add more and more content every week and/or fix bugs and people would have continued to play it. Instead they faild to continiue making the game at alpha stage and just sticked with it to and after the release.

I found out corpse sickness was a mechanic because I was trying to take a lil nap in the military base. My character woke up just in time to die from a fever

it's really sad that there are simply games that will not, cannot, ever be really good. my hopes were so high for this project. I remember when they added in a feature that had been a mod -- no one did that! that was crazy! -- and I really thought it was going to change gaming forever. But it's dead as fuck, and -the community- can't even pick it up and add the missing pieces.

"In 2018" nuff said. The market was suffocating in Battle Royale's at the time. The very release date made it that the game had barely any chance to stand out whatsoever. Sorry, but the supply at the time far outmatched the demand. And we're talking Live-Service model ffs, you need a steady and decently large playerbase that pays for MTX for that shit. The project was doomed to failing from the start.

I was playing Realm Royale every day till recently, i maxed all classes and maxed the battle pass and there is just nothing to do anymore.

I have 150 hours in Starbound and I love what I played. I go back to it from time to time and have a hard time getting into it fully though. Can't tell why, that's why I'm watching this vid~

I've tried to get into Starbound, but it never clicked. Terraria instantly worked for me and today I have serveral thousand hours of playtime, but Starbound never got fun. Also for a game by an ex-Terraria artist. Starbound doesn't look very nice me

At least we can find neat mods for Starbound. I uh, bought Starbound at some point and honestly haven't touched it at all. But I remember seeing mods for it around.
